Below is a selection of notable incidents reported between Sept. 23 and Sept. 28. The information comes from the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department.

September 23

A Greenwood resident’s vehicle was covered in a substance that turned pale green when water was poured on it. His vehicle did not appear to be damaged and he was advised to have the vehicle washed. The resident stated that he would first take his vehicle to an insurance adjuster and body shop.

September 24

A 60-year-old Greenwood man was arrested for DWI after a traffic stop for a headlight violation. The arrest occurred on Excelsior Boulevard in Excelsior.

A car accident occurred at Highway 7 and County Road 19 in Excelsior. The driver of one of the vehicles was cited for failure to exercise due care and control.

September 25

A 25-year-old Brooklyn Center woman was arrested for outstanding warrants and driving with a revoked license. The arrest occurred on Highway 7 and Vine Hill Road.

Someone broke into the pop machine in front of Water Street Pump and took $65 and most of the pop. The cost of damage to the pop machine is unknown.

A driver was reported weaving across the road, nearly striking a guard rail. An officer followed the vehicle and observed the driving conduct. The 48-year-old Minnetrista man was arrested for DWI at Highway 7 and Eureka Road in Shorewood. Test results are pending.

A 24-year-old Ramsey woman was arrested for outstanding warrants. The arrest occurred on Excelsior Boulevard in Excelsior.

September 26

A 28-year-old Wayzata woman was arrested for DWI after a traffic stop for a stop sign violation. The arrest occurred at William Street and County Road 19 in Excelsior. Test results are pending.

A Shorewood woman reported that someone used her Visa credit card and charged $200.

A Shorewood man reported that there was a suspicious person outside his residence in the 24900 block of Smithtown Road. He discovered a man walking outside his residence after hearing a noise while watching TV with his wife. When the resident approached the suspect, he said that he wanted to work for the resident’s wife’s company. The suspect then left.

September 27

Someone broke into the pop machine outside of Haskell’s in Excelsior. The machine had not been used for the last few months. The cost of damage to the pop machine is unknown.

A bicycle was found on the 25600 block of Wild Rose Lane in Shorewood.

An officer noticed two white lights shining from the rear of a vehicle that was merging onto eastbound highway 7 from Mill Street. The officer stopped the vehicle. A 19-year-old Excelsior man and a 19-year-old Deephaven woman were then arrested for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.
