Three vehicles and four people were involved in a broadside crash around 8 p.m. Sunday night, Aug. 4, on Highway 55 in Plymouth.
The incident happened at Pinto Drive and Hwy 55 as one vehicle, a Chevy Impala, was going westbound on the highway and ran a red light. The other two vehicles, a Kawaski Road motorcycle and a Honda FIT, were going southbound on Pinto Drive turning onto eastbound Hwy 55 where they were struck by the other vehicle.
Four people were involved, but the State Patrol has not indicated how many of those people were seriously injured and the extent of the injuries. Those involved including an 18-year-old Greenfield man, a 65-year-old Minnetonka man, a 58-year-old Minnetonka woman and a 68-year-old Wayzata woman.
The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and State Patrol are investigating the incident.
