Report: Residential Fire on Kildare Road in Mound
Scanner reports indicate the cause of the fire appeared to be electrical.
Updated below. Mound firefighters are responding to a report of a fire at a residence on Kildare Road Tuesday evening.
Scanner reports indicated a fire at the home at about 7:20 p.m. Tuesday.
A Hennepin County emergency radio dispatcher arranging for an engine from St. Bonifacius Fire Department to stand by in Mound described the incident as as an "electrical fire at a house."
Update (8:15 p.m. Tuesday): Crews reported via scanner they were clear in Mound at 8:15 p.m., with a Mound fire inspector remaining on the scene to conduct an investigation.
