Mound P.D. Blotter: Indecent Exposure, Copper Theft and DWI

The following is a selection of notable incidents responded to by the Mound Police Department between Sept. 11 and Sept. 13. Not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity.

The passenger window of a vehicle parked on the 2400 block of Commerce Boulevard was reported damaged around 3:30 p.m. Sept. 11.

Police were called to the 4300 block of Wilshire Boulevard after receiving complaints of an indecent exposure incident. The incident occurred just after 2:30 p.m. Sept. 12, and police are investigating.

An accident resulting in property damage occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. Sept. 13 on the 2600 block of Wilshire Boulevard.

A 43-year-old Mound woman was arrested just before 3:30 p.m. Sept. 13 on the 2100 block of Centerview Lane for DWI.

An accident resulting in property damage occurred at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 13 on the 5300 block of Shoreline Drive.

A 19-year-old man with no permanent address and a 21-year-old Mound man were arrested Sept. 13 for fifth-degree controlled substance possession—a small amount of marijuana—and drug possession. The arrests occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. on the 5400 block of Church Road.

A 59-year-old Mound man was arrested  for DWI at 8 p.m. Sept. 12 on the 2100 block of Langdon Lane. Blood alcohol concentration results are pending.

An order for protection violation report was received just after 9 p.m. on Sept. 12 on the 2500 block of Lakewood Road.

Copper wire was stolen from a home under construction on the 2400 block of Bartlett Avenue. The report was received around 7 a.m. on Sept. 11.
