Mound Man Charged for Child Porn
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office says they found videos and images of child pornography on a seized computer.
The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 70-year-old man from Mound who was downloading and viewing child pornography on his computer. Charles Keeley Dick was formally charged with two felonies: dissemination of pornographic work involving a minor and possession of pornographic work involving a minor.
The investigation was a multi-jurisdictional effort that included officers participating in the Internet Crimes against Children Task Force. Images downloaded during this investigation between February 2012 and June 2012 included two young girls: one girl appearing to be 7-9 years of age and another girl appearing to be 10-12 years of age. Adult men were performing sexual acts with the children.
On August 28, Sheriff’s Office detectives executed a search warrant at his home in the 5000 block of Rosedale Road in Mound and arrested the suspect. During the initial examination of the suspect’s computer obtained during the search warrant, there were 16 videos and seven images of child pornography.
