January 17
At 4:12 a.m. officers were dispatched to Park Street in Shorewood upon receiving a report of suspicious activity. A resident said that he woke up and noticed that his neighbor’s sensor lights were on. He saw an unfamiliar vehicle parked outside on the street. Officers located a 26-year-old Spring Lake Park man and arrested him for providing “false information or name.” They transported him to Hennepin County Jail.

Someone stole a watch from a residence on Murray Court in Shorewood. The watch was valued at $12,000.
January 15

A 48-year-old Chanhassen man drove the wrong way on a one way street. He was arrested for DWI on Mill Street and Hwy. 7 in Excelsior. Test results are pending.
January 14
A 54-year-old Orono man was arrested for DWI on County Road 19 and Circle Road in Tonka Bay after a traffic stop for erratic driving. Test results are pending.
A 19-year-old Minnetonka man was arrested on Hwy. 7 and Water Street in Excelsior for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.
January 13
Possible assault reported in Shorewood.
An Excelsior resident reported hearing a woman yelling and swearing at a young child in another apartment.
January 11
Bay Pointe Apartments reported a handicapped sign had been ripped off the post, a $20 loss.
A 16-year-old Shorewood male was cited for inattentive driving. His vehicle had struck a utility pole, re-entered the roadway and crossed traffic lanes before hitting a bridge guardrail.
January 9
Police arrested a 25-year-old Excelsior man on Water Street and County Road 19 in Excelsior for driving without a Minnesota driver’s license.
Officers responded to a report of a loud party on Academy Avenue in Shorewood. A 19-year-old Shorewood man, two 19-year-old Minnetonka men, and two 19-year-old Excelsior men were arrested for underage alcohol consumption.
