Excelsior Fire District Burns Down House
Training exercise allowed fire fighters to hone skills in a realistic scenario.
The Excelsior Fire District conducted a live burn exercise over the weekend. Members of the Chanhassen Fire Department were also invited.
The house was provided by the City of Shorewood.
"A big thanks to them," Excelsior Fire District Chief Scott Gerber said. "The training allowed us to improve fire suppression skills and communications skills in a controlled training environment."
