Elderly Victoria Woman Killed in Weekend Car Accident
Margaret Ida Bauer was in the backseat of a sedan involved in the crash.
A car accident in St. Louis Park killed a 97-year-old woman from Vicoria Satruday afternoon.
Margaret Ida Bauer died from “multiple blunt force injuries” as a result of the crash, which happened at 3:24 p.m. at Hwy. 7 and Texas Avenue, the examiner’s office announced Sunday afternoon.
Bauer lived just of Hwy. 5, about three miles south of Lake Minnetonka's Smithtown Bay.

The crash began when a four-door sedan rear-ended an SUV and set off a chain reaction of crashes involving five cars. Police said just after the crash that Bauer was in the backseat of the sedan.
St. Louis Park police continue to investigate the incident.
