Deephaven Police Made Four DUI Arrests During February

Feb. 9 at 7:32 a.m.

Police received a call of a vehicle stopped in the road in the area of Vine Hill Road and Eastwood Drive. Upon arrival driver was found unresponsive in the traffic lane behind the wheel. The 23-year-old driver from Maple Grove initially stated she was diabetic. HCMC checked the driver and found she was not diabetic. Further investigation found the driver intoxicated. She was arrested. Driver provided a breath test with results of .14.

Feb. 10 at 1:08 a.m.

Vehicle stopped for Ted Foss violation and driving conduct. After investigation driver was found to be intoxicated and submitted to standard field sobriety testing. The 46-year-old male driver from Shorewood failed PBT and was arrested for DWI. Driver was transported to the Deephaven Police Department where he refused any other testing. Driver was transported to Hennepin County Adult Detention Center and released. To be charged via formal complaint.

Feb. 16 at 9:06 p.m.

A 34-year-old driver from Excelsior was stopped for speeding. Driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for DWI. Driver took breath test and blew .13 AC. Driver was released with a court date.

Feb. 17 at 3:21 a.m.

A vehicle was stopped after officer observed poor driving conduct and several moving violations. After investigation, the 33-year-old driver from Minneapolis was placed under arrest for DWI and transported to the Hennepin County jail for further testing. The arrested party provided a breath sample with a reported result of .17 AC. The party was booked for 4th deg DWI, careless driving and open bottle.
