Deephaven Police Department Blotter: Aug. 2

Below is a recap of some notable activity of the Deephaven Police Department between July 22 and July 31. The blotter is not intended to be a cumulative report of all activity. 

July 22

12:47 a.m.—19600 block of Minnetontka Boulevard. Traffic stop. Driver arrested for DWI, possession of marijuana in a vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without headlights and careless driving. Police are waiting for toxicology results before formally charging.

July 24

1:34 p.m.—18100 block Hummingbird Road. Officer wrote an Informational report. No other information is available.

10:45 p.m.—19500 block Excelsior Boulevard. Traffic stop. Driver cited for driving after cancellation.

July 26 

2:07 a.m.—Intersection of Highway 101 and Blaine Avenue. Traffic stop. Driver cited for driving after suspension.

7:30 a.m.—Vine Hill Rd. and Rosedale Ave. Traffic stop. Driver cited for driving after revocation and no license in possession.

7:55 a.m.—19400 block of Highway 7. Traffic stop. Driver had an outstanding warrant. Driver paid bail and was released.

10:00—20300 block of Lakeview Avenue. Officer took a report of vandalism. Victim had her Internet cable cut by the pole.

5:48 p.m.—3400 block of Crest Avenue. Officer took a report of credit card fraud. Case is under investigation.

7:59 p.m—Intersection of Highway 101 and Highland Avenue. Traffic stop. Driver was cited for driving after suspension.

July 28

11:18 a.m.—2800 block of Gale Road. Officer responded to a Medical Call.

July 29

12:27 a.m.—18900 block of Eastwood Drive. Officer responded to a medical call.

7:51 a.m.—20300 block of Summerville Road. Officer responded to a medical call.

9:25 - 3500 block of Northome Road. Officer took a theft report.

11:30 p.m. - Intersection of Highway 101 and Minnetontka Boulevard. Traffic stop. Driver stopped for an outstanding warrant. Driver paid bail and was released.

July 30

1:15 p.m.—4100 block of Heathcote Road. Officer responded to a property-damage accident.

10:24 p.m.—Intersection of Vine Hill Road. and Excelsior Boulevard. Traffic stop. Driver arrested for DWI. Police are awaiting toxicology results before charging.

11:34 p.m.—3800 block of Honeysuckle Road. Officers responded to a loud party complaint. Four underage persons were charged with minor consumption of alcohol. One person was arrested on a Scott County warrant.

July 31 

12:46 a.m.—685 Excelsior Boulevard. Officer assisted South Lake Minnetonka police with a fight. One party was arrested for assault.

7:04 a.m.—3725 Hamilton Avenue. Officer called to the park for yelling. Officer located three intoxicated males. A vehicle was found on the path. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DWI. Police are waiting for toxicology results before charging.

4:38 p.m.—17000 block of Highway 7. Traffic Stop. Driver cited for driving after suspension.
