Deephaven P.D. Blotter: Spilled Concrete, Underage Drinking Party and DWI

The following is a selection of notable incidents responded to by the Deephaven Police Department between Sept. 27 and Sept. 30. Not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity.

September 30

A 21-year-old man from Shakopee was arrested at 1:45 a.m. near the intersection of Hwy. 169 and Cedar Lake Road for fourth-degree DWI. The arresting officer was working a special detail with the Minnesota State Patrol.

September 29

A 56-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested at approximately 11 p.m. near the intersection of Hwy. 100 and Duluth Street for fourth-degree DWI. The arresting officer was working a special detail with the Minnesota State Patrol.

An officer was called to a theft report on the 2800 block of Breezy Heights Road just after 8:30 a.m. A watch and wedding ring, last seen in March of 2011, were reported missing. The missing items were valued at more than $2,600.

September 28

Officers assisted the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department with an underage drinking party just before midnight on the 4800 block of Rustic Way.

An officer found spilled concrete on the 3400 block of Hamilton Avenue. The officer followed the spilled concrete to a nearby home under construction, and the contractor was notified about cleanup.

A mailbox valued at $500 was reported damaged on the 4100 block of Hillcrest Lane.

Police responded to a fire on the 19000 block of Cedarhurst Avenue. An air conditioner started on fire and damaged the home’s exterior.

September 27

Police assisted the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department with a domestic assault arrest on the 800 block of Third Avenue. The arrest took place just after 5 a.m.
