Crown College Coach Accused of Sexual Conduct With Shorewood Teen

Ryan Paul Chmielewski, 30, has been charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

A Crown College coach is accused of engaging in sexual conduct with a 15-year-old Shorewood girl, WCCO reported Thursday.

On Thursday, prosecutors charged 30-year-old Ryan Paul Chmielewski, of St. Bonifacious, with one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Chmielewski met the girl on OKCupid.com, WCCO reported, citing the criminal complaint. He’s accused of touching the girl sexually on several occasions at her parents’ home in December and reportedly admitted having sexual contact with her.

Chmielewski was the head women’s basketball coach and head cross-country coach at Crown College, a private Christian college in St. Bonifacious. He was terminated Thursday.
