Blotter: Stolen Golf Clubs, Backpack Heist and a Late Morning DWI Arrest

A 31-year-old male from Decorah, IA, was arrested May 6 following a traffic stop near the intersection of Bushaway Road and Wayzata Boulevard. The arrest took place at 11:41 a.m. and executed by a Mound police officer working a special detail in the Wayzata area.
A GPS unit was stolen from an unlcocked vehicle parked on the 2000 block of Orchard Lane May 5. Value of the item is estimated at $150.

Five golf clubs valued at approximately $500 were reported stolen May 5 from a vehicle parked on the 400 block of Ferndale Road.
Glass was broken on a door to an apartment building on the 900 block of Rice Street May 5. Damage estimates are unknown.

A bright orange trailer was reported stolen May 4 from the 1100 block of LaSalle Street. The trailer was converted from a boat to a motorcycle trailer, and its value was not immediately known.
A backpack was reported stolen off of a parked bicycle May 3 on the 500 block of Lake Street. Police report loss of a flute, iPod and other items, valued at $520.
