Blotter: Mound Police Cuff Drunk Drivers, Investigate Thefts

An accident resulting in property damage was reported just after 11 a.m. on the 5300 block of Wilshire Boulavard on Oct. 17.

A juvenile was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana on the 6100 block of Clover Circle on Oct. 18.

A lawnmower caught fire around 5 p.m. Oct. 18 on the 2500 block of Lakewood Lake

A 39-year-old Princeton man was arrested Oct. 19 at 12:40 a.m. on the 5400 block of Shoreline Drive for possession of a dangerous weapon and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

A large pot of geraniums was taken from a patio on the 2100 block of Old School Road. The report was received just before 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 20.

A juvenile was cited for trespassing just after 6 p.m. on Oct. 20 along the 5300 block of Maywood Road.

A 46-year-old Mound man was arrested for second-degree DWI and driving with a cancelled license just after 7:15 p.m. on Oct. 20 on the 4900 block of Bartlett Boulevard.

An accident resulting in property damage was reported on the 2100 block of Commerce Boulevard at 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 21. Another property damage accident was reported in the same area at 6:35 p.m.

A 29-year-old Spring Park man was arrested for fourth-degree DWI on the 2100 block of Grandview Boulevard just after 1 a.m. on Oct. 22.

A purse containing prescription pills was stolen from a vehicle on the 1600 block of Eagle Lane on Oct. 22. The report was received about 9:15 p.m., and loss was estimated at more than $500.

Jewelry, a computer, cameras and game systems were reported burglarized from a location on the 5300 block of Otter Road. The report was received just before 6:15 p.m. on Oct. 24, and loss was estimated at more than $9,000.

A 29-year-old Mound man was arrested Oct. 25 on the 2100 block of Belmont Lane at 6:10 for fifth-degree domestic assault.

A 29-year-old Brook Park man was arrested just before midnight on Oct. 27 along the 2200 block of Commerce Boulevard for second-degree DWI. Blood alcohol tests are pending.

A 25-year-old Mound man was arrested Oct. 29 for fourth-degree DWI, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an early morning traffic stop on the 5600 block of Bartlett Boulevard.

An 18-year-old Mound man was arrested on an outstanding Carver County warrant Oct. 29 on the 2100 block of Commerce Boulevard.

A juvenile from Spring Park was arrested for DWI following a traffic stop just before 11 p.m. on Oct. 29. The arrest took place on the 2000 block of Commerce Boulevard. Test results are pending.

A 21-year-old Plymouth man was arrested for possession of stolen property at 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 31. The arrest took place on the 2300 block of Hiddenvale Lane.

A 23-year-old Mound man was arrested for third-degree DWI following a 2 a.m. traffic stop on the 6100 block of Bartlett Boulevard. Blood alcohol tests are pending. The arrest took place on the 6100 block of Bartlett Boulevard.

Theft of a fire extinguisher valued at $130 was reported stolen Nov. 1 from a location on the 5500 block of Shoreline Drive.

A 22-year-old Mound man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant just after 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 3.

A vehicle was keyed on the 2100 block of Basswood Lane sometime on Nov. 3.
