Blotter: Harassing Phone Calls Prompt Complaint to Police

The following is a notable selection of incidents reported to the Mound Police Department between Feb. 8 and Feb. 15. Blotter is not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity.

February 15

Shortly before 3 p.m., a juvenile was charged with theft of a pair of gloves valued at $29.

February 14

An assault report involving juveniles on the 1800 block of Grandview Boulevard was reported.

February 12

A person attempted to “quick change” at a business on the 2100 block of Commerce Boulevard.

Another report about someone trying to “quick change” was received from a business on the 5000 block of Three Points Boulevard.

Feburary 10

A 26-year-old Mound man was arrested on third degree DWI, possession of a small amount of marijuana in a motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest occurred on the 2600 block of Wilshire Boulevard.

February 8

Shortly after 8 a.m. a report was received of a property damage accident on the 5400 block of Shoreline Drive.

A complaint about harassing phone calls was received from the 1700 block of Jones Lane.

At 3:30 p.m. a report was received of a property damage accident on the 2100 block of Commerce Boulevard.
