Blotter: Diamond Worth $15k Goes Missing

A 36-year-old Wayzata man was arrested just after 9:15 p.m. Dec. 12 for domestic assault. The arrest occurred after police responded to an incident on the 100 block of Grand Avenue South. Charges are pending.

A 40-year-old man from Eden Prairie was arrested at 4:15 a.m. on Dec. 9 on suspicion of third-degree DWI. The arrest took place following a traffic stop near the westbound off ramp of Hwy. 12 and Gleason Road.

A missing diamond, valued at $15,000, was reported missing from the 700 block of Lake Street on Dec. 8. No additional information is available.

An iPod and radar detector were reported stolen Dec. 8 from a vehicle on the 200 block of Central Avenue. Police received the report just before 2:30 a.m. The thief gained access to the vehicle by smashing a window. The investigation is ongoing.

A license plate was reported missing from the 300 block of Wayzata Boulevard East on Dec. 6.
