Blotter: Deephaven Police Catch Egg Throwing Suspects

A selection of notable incidents between Feb. 15 and Feb. 23.

Below is a selection of notable incidents reported between Feb. 1 and Feb. 29. The information comes from the Deephaven Police Department and is not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity.

An officer responded to a property damage vehicle accident at the City Hall parking lot on Feb. 29.

An officer responded to a possible burglary on the 19100 block of Rutledge Road. Items were missing from the garage. The incident occurred on Feb. 28.

A driver was cited for violation of instructional permit on Hwy. 7 after a traffic stop on Feb. 22.

On. Feb. 18, Officers responded to suspicious activity on the 3700 block of Monaltrie Avenue.

On Feb. 18, on the 4800 block of Vine Hill Road, a driver was verbally warned on speed and issued an insurance demand notice.

On Feb. 14, on the 19800 block of Cottagewood Road, the driver of an overweight truck was cited for overweight on a 4-ton road

Eggs were thrown at a house on the 20600 block of Linwood Drive on Feb. 12.

During a Feb. 12 traffic stop on the 18900 block of Azure Road, a juvenile passenger fled from the scene and was apprehended inside the home. The juvenile was charged with underage consumption of alcohol, curfew violation, and obstructing the legal process.

On Minnetonka Boulevard, a driver was cited for no license in possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana in a vehicle. The incident occurred on Feb. 11.

Eggs were thrown at a vehicle on Breezy Point Road on Feb. 10. The suspects were caught. Charges are pending.

Police cited a driver for driving after driver’s license suspension and no vehicle insurance on Breezy Point Road. The vehicle was impounded. The incident occurred on Feb. 10.

On Feb. 6 an officer took information on a property damage accident that occurred on Jan. 28. Someone had driven off the road and hit the tennis court fence.

A driver was cited for driving after revocation of driver’s license on the 2900 block of County Road 101 after a traffic stop on Feb. 5.

Police arrested a driver for DWI on the 4900 block of Vine Hill Road after a traffic stop on Feb. 5. Test results are pending.

Police cited a driver for driving after driver’s license revocation and no proof of insurance. The incident occurred on Feb. 1 on Hwy. 101 and Highland Avenue.

A driver was arrested on the 18100 block of Minnetonka Boulevard on Feb. 1. The driver was arrested for cancellation and violation of restricted license and taken to Hennepin County Jail. The vehicle was impounded.
