All OK After Truck Slams into House Thursday Morning

The incident occurred around 9 a.m., and a building inspector cleared the structure as safe to occupy.

The Long Lake Fire Department responded to a property near the intersection of Lyric Avenue and Livingston Avenue in Navarre this morning after receiving reports of a truck running into a building.

Long Lake Fire Chief James Van Eyll said it appears the truck either slipped out of gear or did not have its parking brake engaged.

"The driver was there to do some mowing, got out his mower from the enclosed trailer and was mowing away when the truck started going down the embankment there," Van Eyll said.
