Community Corner

Vote For Johansen, McCullough, and Victor For Wayzata School Board

Dear Friends,

I am writing to endorse three strong candidates, Sarah Johansen, Chris McCullough, and Ted Victor, who are running for election to the Wayzata School Board.

As a former Chair and Member of the Board, I understand the qualities needed to be effective in leading our District.  All three of these community leaders have those qualities!

Sarah has been an energetic volunteer throughout the District, serving on committees that impact legislative issues, facilities, and community education.  She is a tough thinker with a soft heart!  In addition, she has her fingers on the "pulse" of the District.

Chris has been a strong voice in many areas affecting Wayzata Schools, including finance committees, site councils, and the long range facilities task force.  His pragmatic approach to problem solving is unparralled and greatly needed in the coming years!  Also, his legal background will be a great addition to the Board.

Ted has an incredible history of community involvement and servant leadership.  For decades Ted has been a leader in the business community, the faith community, the non-profit world, and throughout the Wayzata Public Schools.  He has a proven track record of problem solving, including active involvement in District finance, legislative, and facility issues.  His sound judgement and business background will make him a great member of the team!

I hope you will join me in voting for Sarah Johansen, Chris McCullough, and Ted Victor.  The Wayzata School Board will continue a history of excellence under their leadership.  Remember to vote November 5th!
