Obituary: John P. “Jack” Dennis

John P. “Jack” Dennis, 73 of Wayzata, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 29, 2011.  

Jack will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Evy; son John, daughter, Leslie (Tim) Oare; two adored grandchildren, Heidi and Brian Oare; sister, Joanne; brother, Philip (Jennifer) Dennis, many nieces, nephews, and his faithful dog, Bass.  

Jack was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a successful business man and real estate investor for many years who completed tasks with unmatched ambition and dedication. Jack was filled with integrity, honesty and treated everyone with respect regardless of the circumstance.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed skiing, sailing, fishing, hunting, camping, as well as traveling and classic cars. He lived life to the fullest and truly enjoyed all aspects of life while being an extremely hard worker.  

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Lafayette Club, located at 2800 Northview  Road in Minnetonka Beach.

Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to the Minnesota Medical Foundation in support of the Masonic Cancer Center, 200 Oak St., Suite 300, Minneapolis, MN 55455.
