Obituary: Dorothy 'Pat' Olson of Wayzata

Dorothy M. “Pat” Olson, a longtime resident of Wayzata and dearly beloved by family and friends alike, passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2012. 

Pat had many close friends from Ridgeview Drive and Wayzata Country Club. She had a loving heart and opened her home to many. Some stayed a few days, others stayed months. Pat was active at St. Bart’s Church as a Eucharistic Minister. She was an avid golfer, skier and bowler. 

Recently preceded in death by her husband Ken, as well as sisters, Caryl and Sue and nephew Jon. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends: sons, John and wife Ann, Mark and wife Sandra, Bill and wife Doneta; grandchildren, Maggie, Jack, Chase, Amilya and Kendell; brothers and sisters, Dick, Kenny, Judy, Joyce, Joann, Bob and Greg; sister-in-law, Marlys Christofferson and other loving relatives.  

Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012 at the Church of , located at 630 E. Wayzata Blvd. in Wayzata.

Visitation is from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at , 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd. in Wayzata, and one hour prior to mass at church.  

Interment at Sunset Memorial Park 11 a.m. Friday.
