Funeral Services Set for 16-year-old Wayzata High Student

Logan W. Bauer, 16, of Plymouth died Friday after a battle with illness.

Logan W. Bauer “Brother” “Dude” age 16 of Plymouth formerly of Princeton passed away Friday, January 25, 2013. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 at Christ Our Light Catholic Parish North Campus, Princeton, MN with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 and one hour prior to mass all at church. Parish prayers will be offered at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday at the church.

Logan William Bauer was born Oct. 2, 1996 in Minneapolis the son of Robert and Stacey (Jones) Bauer.

Logan was a sophomore at Wayzata High School, previously attending Zimmerman High School and Princeton High School. He enjoyed fishing, especially the many times he out-fished his father. Logan could always be comforted by a back scratch from his mother. Logan raced go Karts and won his first championship his rookie year; he made many good friends out on the track.  Logan had a great sense of humor; he was kind, caring, and compassionate towards everyone he met.  Dirt biking was a new hobby that Logan was passionate about; he also enjoyed video games.

Family meant the absolute world to Logan. When asked by the “Make-A-Wish Foundation” what his wish would be, Logan wished that he could take his entire family to Disney World so they could all spend time together.

He will be remembered as a beautiful soul who was always comforting and selfless to those around him.

Logan is survived by his father, Robert (Sherie Wood) of Plymouth; mother, Stacey (Donald Justus) of Princeton; sisters, Lauren (Justin Robertson) of Andover, Emily “Sister” of Princeton, Gabi of Princeton; paternal grandparents, Edward (Karen) Bauer of Erie, PA; maternal grandparents, Bill (Pinky) Jones of Beverly Hills, FL; nephew, Mason; four-legged companions, Dobbin, Enzo, Oony.

Logan was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Peter (Kathryn) Letso, William (Mae) Jones, Joseph (Julia) Olish

Memorials are preferred to NephCure or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
