Celebrate freedom with STEELE Fitness and the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce this July 4 by registering for the Annual Firecracker 10k and Fun Run. The starting gun goes off at 8 a.m.
Race entry is $38, and deals can be found online and/or for early registration.
From STEELE Fitness: One of the few 10Ks held on July 4th in Minnesota, the race is recognized by the Minnesota Distance Runners Association (MDRA) and has previously been included on MDRA's Grand Prix listings. The USTAC-certified 10K course is considered one of the prettiest and most challenging around the Twin Cities. The race kicks-off a full day of festivites in downtown Exclesior that includes a kid's parade, sand sculpture contest, performance by the Wolverine Big Band, and Lucas Oil Air Show.
New this year, runners will compete for an exclusive prize package. The first male and female runner to cross the 10K finish line are eligible for a year long Under Armour for STEELE and STEELE Sport sponsorship package valued at $5,000.
For the first child to finish the Family Fun Run, he or she will receive an Under Armour for STEELE gift prize valued at $200.
