Sizzle For A Cause!

This high energy food competition held on February 20, 2014

benefits ICA Food Shelf and features local chefs from Jake O’Connor’s

Public House, Bayview Event Center, Joey Nova’s, Loaves and Fishes,

Gianni's and Spasso.

 

How does it work?

Sizzle for a cause is modeled after The Food Network’s Iron

Chef/Chopped programs. Head Chefs from top restaurants in the area are

invited to come together and compete for the Golden Cleaver so they can

claim cooking supremacy, in what has become an annual competition.

Each Chef will be asked to prepare food for the entire audience using

a “secret ingredient”. Not only will local celebrity judges be present,

but the lucky tasters (you!) also have a chance to sample a variety of

food from each restaurant!

Soak up a lakeside view and sample a selection of locally crafted

beer and wine, from Excelsior Brewing Company and Team Liquor. Full bar

available.

Proceeds raised during the event will be donated to support local neighbors in need through ICA Food Shelf. (www.icafoodshelf.org)

A dynamic display of culinary arts will unfold when fierce competitors face off against reigning champion, Joey Nova’s!
