Letter of Support for Wayzata School Board Candidate Dan Haugen

Dear Wayzata School Board Voters,

It is a pleasure to write asking your support of Dan Haugen’s candidacy for the Wayzata School Board.    

Since the mid-1980s, my husband, Bruce, and I have been associated with Dan in several ways, all of them fine experiences. We were board members of Neighborhood Involvement Program when Dan was Executive Director there, and as charitable giving foundation trustees, we have followed and supported his exemplary work at the Adler Graduate School.

Infinitely patient, a team-builder, considerate, innovative, and a sensitive leader—all these describe Dan’s style and strengths. Being a successful school board member requires one to be a very good listener and also a person of solid convictions. Dan possesses both these qualities in abundance. 

He is wise, courageous, and above all a person of absolute honesty and integrity.  

My support of Dan for Wayzata School Board could not be more enthusiastic.   I encourage you to give serious consideration to his candidacy and, I hope, give him your vote.
