Women Only: Ice Fishing Class on Lake Minnetonka

Three Rivers Park District will host class on ice fishing basics next month on Lake Minnetonka.

What’s more Minnesotan than fishing through the ice? On Saturday, Feb. 2, from 9 a.m.–noon at Lake Minnetonka Regional Park in Minnetrista learn what equipment is needed to have a successful ice fishing trip.

See types of lures and bait, and view the use of an ice auger and fish house being set up. Class includes ice and cold weather safety and emergency response information. After instructions, participants will have an opportunity to try their luck at ice fishing.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Cost is $10 and reservations are required.
