With Schools Set to Go on MEA Break, Head to the Farm for Family Fun

Thursday and Friday activities are designed for kindergarten-aged kids.

Here's a chance to grab the little ones, get outside and enjoy an activity-packed fall day meeting farm animals, making a farm-fresh snack and creating a wool keepsake to take home.

Nature Center staff will guide hikes on our trails to learn about insects and introduce guests to a live raptor. Come for an hour or stay the whole day on Thursday, Oct. 20, or Friday, Oct. 21, from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Gale Woods Farm in Minnetrista.

There will be a break in programming from 11:45 a.m. -12:30 p.m. for lunch.
