Try Your Hand at Snow Sculpting During Arctic Fever 2013

Work begins this week on sculptures that will be judged by those attending this weekend's Arctic Fever 2013.

Ever snow sculpted before? It doesn’t matter either way! Anyone can do it, so give it a try in Badger Park for Arctic Fever 2013.

Individuals and groups are invited to reserve a snow cube and try their hand at snow sculpting. The event is free.

Teams can begin their sculpture the weekend of Jan. 12 and work all week. Lights will be on in the field at night until 10 p.m. for team work. Sculptures must be completed by Friday,  Jan. 18. Attendees of the Arctic Fever skating and pizza event Friday night at Southshore Center, 5735 Country Club Road, Shorewood, will vote on the best sculpture.
