Strong Storms Pound West Metro
Weekend's round of severe weather had residents in some west metro areas taking cover
Communities throughout the Twin Cities region are cleaning up after a line of severe storms spawned hail, heavy rain and several tornadoes.
Tornadoes have been reported in several cities, including , , and north Minneapolis—where one person was killed
More than two inches of rain fell in most areas around Lake Minnetonka between Friday night and Sunday afternoon. Hail storms sprouted late Saturday, and heavy rain was reported throughout the area.
