Tonight: Pulitzer Prize Winning Author Visits Wayzata to Talk History

David McCullough will be at the Wayzata Community Church.

Best-selling author David McCullough will be in Wayzata this evening to talk about and sign copies of his new book “The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris.”

Tickets are required, and those interested in attending can call at 952-473-8341 for information.

McCullough has written more than a half dozen books, including historical explorations of Harry Truman and John Adams.


He has won a pair of Pulitzer Prizes, two National Book Awards and two Francis Parkman Prizes from the American Society of Historians.

“The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris” was released late last month and focuses on the wave of Americans who traveled to Paris in the 1800s in search of adventure and career enhancement. The book is published by Simon and Schuster.

Heck, we don't need more foreigners coming into this country, period! This country now has overRead More 300 million people. The countries that have the lowest crime rates and are most prosperous are those which have "walled" themselves off from the third-world, such as New Zealand Countries such as England, Germany, Norway, and Sweden are regretting their "open door" policy toward immigrants... which have just brought crime to their once peaceful countries.
