Take a Kid Fishing During Saturday's Crappie Tourney on Lake Minnetonka

Lake Minnetonka's crappie bite will be in the spotlight tomorrow.

The season's first fishing tournament on Lake Minnetonka takes place tomorrow.

Adults are encouraged to bring a kid a long for the "Adult and Kids Crappie Tournament," which starts at 6 a.m. and ends with a noon weigh in at Maynard's Resort in Excelsior.

There is a $7 entry fee for those wishing to participate, which can be paid at weigh in or at the BP station in Shoreline Drive in Spring Park.
