Lake Minnetonka
When: Friday, July 15 from 5 p.m. to midnight
Where:
Why Go: Fight the heat with entertainment for all ages, including spectacular live music, kid’s activities and amazing food.
Price: Free general admission
When: Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16
Where: City of Mound
Why Go: Envision all your favorite things about the lakes...now add live music, roller derby girls, beer gardens, children’s entertainment and fireworks.
Price: Free General Admission

Hopkins
When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Where: City of Hopkins
Why Go: This weekend the festival winds down with live entertainment, athletics, blood donations, Bingo, street dancing, pig roasting and the Grande Day Parade.
Price: Most events have free admission

Minnetonka
When: Sunday, July 17; Adult race at 7 a.m. & Youth race at 9:15 a.m.
Where: Little Long Lake (5905 Sunnyfield Road E, Mound)
Why Go: Cheer on local adults and youth as they swim, bike and run through western Hennepin County. There are still some spots in the race if you just so happen to be in shape.
Price: Free spectating
Southwest Minneapolis
When: Saturday, July 16 from 12 to 6 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Celebrate summer with your neighbors over live music, kid friendly carnival games and delicious food. Proceeds from the festival will be reinvested into neighborhood programs.
Price: Free General Admission
Golden Valley
When: Saturday, July 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Kids are invited to explore the depths of their imagination through the LEGO building challenge.
Price: Free
St. Louis Park
When: Friday, July 15 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Veterans Amphitheater (3700 Monterey Drive, St. Louis Park)
Why Go: The Shakespeare classic will be brought to life under the evening sky.
Price: Adults $10-14, Youth under 18 are free when accompanied by an adult
