Where: Gale Woods Farm (7210 County Road 101 Ext, Minnetrista)
Why Go: Meander over to the farm to meet the animals, help the farmer with seasonal chores and other fun farm activities.

When: Saturday, Oct. 1 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Where: 
Why Go: Jump on your bike and follow the Dakota Regional Trail to the Art Center's open house. The afternoon will be filled with tours of the art facility, art demonstrations, art making activities for kids, a Raku Firing and Bronze Pour.

St. Louis Park
 

When: Friday, Sept. 30 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 1 at 3 & 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m.
Where: W 16th Street & Utica Avenue S, St. Louis Park
Why Go: You still have a chance to catch the Minnesota debut of this unique equestrian show that celebrates the bond between human and horse.

Why Go: Join the altruistic family fall fun with live music, games, food and more.

When: Saturday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: 
Why Go: Get up close and personal with animals and the great outdoors at the 6th Annual Fall Festival. There will also be opportunities to enjoy interactive art, music and health-boosting activities.

Why Go: Explore the products of local crafters, vendors and retailers at the church’s 3rd annual fall sale.

Golden Valley
 

When: Saturday, Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Kelly Drive & Duluth Street, Golden Valley
Why Go: The Kelly Drive Pumpkin Growers Association is hosting its 15th annual event featuring tractor rides, pumpkin weigh-ins, face painting and a parade of pumpkins.
