The annual James J. Hill Days Celebration in Wayzata drew thousands to the north shore of Lake Minnetonka over the weekend.

For many, the highlight of the city's two-day festival was Sunday's parade down Lake Street. An assortment of community organizations, local businesses and candidates running for federal, state and local office all marched down Lake Street as thousands waved, cheered and gobbled up candy tossed from floats.

Editor's note: Original captions accompanying photos of the trolley in this year's parade contained incorrect information in Patch's initial post. The information has been corrected to reflect the trolley was not the one retired from Wayzata and was in fact rented and paid for by the Anderson for Council Volunteer Committee. Patch regrets the error and any confusion it may have caused.
