A Minnetonka High School graduate will be on the ice tonight with his St. Cloud State teammates when the Huskies skate against Quinnipiac in the “Frozen Four.”

Andrew Prochno is a member of Minnetonka High School’s class of 2010 and a key cog in St. Cloud’s rotation. He has played in all but one of St. Cloud’s 42 games this season and leads the team with 48 blocked shots.

Prochno, just a sophomore, has also tallied 28 offensive points during the 2012-13 campaign (five goals and 23 assists) and has emerged as one of college hockey’s premier defensemen. He has a +23 rating, second on the team only to leading goal scorer Jonny Brodzinski.
