Details for Veteran's Day 2012 Ceremony in Wayzata
Lake Minnetonka Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host a Veteran's Day celebration in Wayzata Nov. 11.
The Lake Minnetonka Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is planning an event to honor all of our nation's veterans.
On Sunday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. the public is encouraged to come to Heritage Park in Wayzata for a short ceremony and to place a flag in the ground to honor the nation's veterans.
The Lake Minnetonka Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will provide the flags and warm beverages will be served. To cover costs, donations will be accepted.
"We hope to cover Heritage Park in flags in order to show that the Lake Minnetonka area is forever grateful to our servicemen and women," Jessica Powell, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, said.
