How You Can Join the City of Shorewood for 'Step to It Challenge 2013'
Online registration for the 2013 Step To It Challenge opened April 1 and runs May 1 to May 28.
This year marks the fifth anniversary of the Step To It Challenge and the third year Shorewood has participated.
The Step To It Challenge is a friendly, physical activity competition which began in 2009 with five Hennepin County community partners. Along with creating camaraderie and spirit, it’s a great opportunity for people of all ages to get moving after a long winter.
The Minnesota Twins and KARE 11 join Hennepin County and participating communities as proud sponsors of the 2013 Step To It Challenge. Winning participants from each community will be recognized during a Twins game this summer.

There is a competition between participants and between the participating cities for the most steps walked.
The City of Shorewood encourages residents of all ages to participate in this free challenge.

Online registration for the 2013 Step To It Challenge opened April 1 at www.steptoit.org. The challenge period runs May 1 to May 28. Each participant gets a t-shirt and other fun gifts. For questions or additional information, contact City of Shorewood, 952.960.7900.
