Get Ahead of Your Thanksgiving Feast with Annual Community Run/Walk
About 100 people are expected to get an early chase on their calorie count.
Friends and neighbors from throughout the Lake Minnetonka area will gather on Thanksgiving morning for some casual exercise.
The 8th Annual Thanksgiving Run or Walk starts at 10 a.m. at 1694 Bollum Circle in Long Lake. The run option is slated for 3.7 miles; the walk is planned for two.
Local residents John and Diane Hughes organize the annual event and say tomorrow's turkey day excersise is for all ages.

There is no cost to participate, but optional food and cash donations will be accepted for Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners and "8 to a Lamp."
