On the Farm
The farm is all bundled up and ready for winter. Compost has been spread in the gardens, the strawberries and asparagus have been mulched, the sheep are in the barn and the cattle are on their winter pasture and our wonderful seasonal staff have gone onto other things for the winter. In this time of reflection we are grateful for the bounty of the farm, the beautiful landscape of this place and all the people who bring it life. May your winter be filled with gratefulness too.

Purchase a Holiday Bundle of Meat Cheer
More pork and lamb will be available in mid-December and we are pleased to offer another butcher bundle. This one is bound to bring a squeal of delight from someone on your gift list.

The cost for this Butcher Bundle is $100 and consists of the following:

• one package of ground lamb
• one package of ground beef
• one package of ground unseasoned pork
• one package of mild-Italian ground pork
• one lamb roast
• one beef soup bone
• one package of fresh pork hocks
• one package of lamb steak
• one package of sirloin steak
• one package of ham steak
• one package of one-in pork chops
• one package of lamb kabob
• one package of bacon
• one package of lamb/pork breakfast link
• one ham.

If you purchased these cuts separately, you would pay approximately $120. By purchasing a Gale Woods Farm Butcher Bundle you are saving $20.

By mid-December we will also have a nice selection of individual cuts of pork, lamb, beef and whole frozen chickens. We accept cash, credit card and checks. Our visitor center and store is open 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12–5 p.m. on Sunday.

Winter Squash Bounty
Our gardens gifted us with a larger than usual bounty of winter squash. Therefore, we’d love to share the wealth! While supplies last, Lil’ Acorns and Delicatas are $1 each and Butternut, Red Kuri, Kabocha, Spaghetti, and Carnival are all $2 each.
