With commercial real estate sales picking up pace, will the former VFW building in Mound get a new tenant?
The building that was once home to VFW Post 5113 in Mound has been vacant for several years, and Patch wants to know what or who you would like to see move in.
The building is currently being offered for sale or lease and is located in the middle of a busy stretch of Commerce Boulevard near the shores of Lake Minnetonka and an expansive city park. The asking price is $550,000 with a $50,000 down payment.
The property was appraised at more than $850,000 in 2008.

Currently owned by the bank following a 2009 foreclosure, the building boasts more than 7,000 square feet and comes with an assortment of furniture, fixtures and equipment—valued at approximately $100,000.
