New Sandwich Shop Offers a Taste of Freshness

Milios Sandwiches is coming to Lake Minnetonka.

There might be a reason to venture out into the cold on Tuesday, November 15. The date is set for Milios Sandwiches to open off of Hwy. 7 in Shorewood.

The restaurant shares a plaza with many other businesses, including Caribou Coffee, Verizon Wireless and . Cub is right across the parking lot as well.

According to owner, Vic Morabec, Milios Sandwiches is different from other sub sandwich shops because employees slice the meat, cheese, and vegetables daily.

However, a grand opening celebration is not planned until early spring when, as Morabec noted, the snow begins to melt. Although the specifics of the grand opening have not yet been settled, Morabec expected that giveaways and fun activities for kids will be a part of it.

Milio's Sandwiches has locations in four states: Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota. Other shops in Minnesota are in Minneapolis, St. Cloud, Apple Valley, Eden Prairie, Burnsville, Oakdale and Woodbury.
