New Welcome Center Will House Chamber Offices, Steamboat HQ and Trolley Ticket Sales

Grand opening for new welcome center planned for Thursday, June 13, from 5-8 p.m.

For the first time, the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka area will open a Welcome Center for visitors and residents alike to learn about the history and current happenings in the area.

The chamber is partnering with some of the more famous icons in the area: the Steamboat Minnehaha, the Minnesota Transportation Museum's famous Trolley and other historical figures in the area. Now, residents can find all these organizations under one roof, with a comfy place to sit down, relax and learn about the Lake Minnetonka Area.

The Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber Welcome Center will be staffed with friendly volunteers, ready and willing to answer questions and discuss the current events of the area. Come by, say hello and get to know the area.

The Chamber wishes to recognize and thank Beacon Bank for the opportunity to open this Welcome Center in their building, and have a presence on Water Street.

The public is invited to a grand opening on Thursday, June 13, at 37 Water Street.
