A true community event is about to unfold in the Lake Minnetonka area.
The Lake Minnetonka-Excelsior Rotary Club will present a check to the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce in support of the Lake Minnetonka 4th of July fireworks fund.
The donation is a result of the 1st annual Burgers & Bingo by the Bay, a fun event sponsored by Maynards and Excelsior Brewing Company, and hosted by the Lake Minnetonka-Excelsior Rotary Club.
The event raised approximately $20,000 to put toward the fireworks display. The Chamber hosts the only free public fireworks show on the waters of Lake Minnetonka.
On Thursday, June 20, the Rotary group will present a big check to the Chamber at our Monthly Chamber meeting held at STEELE Fitness in Excelsior.
