Be There to Find Out Who Wins the Excelsior Chamber's 2013 Person of the Year

The tradition of giving the award for Person of the Year has returned to the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce.  

The Excelsior–Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce recognizes that its members continue to offer their time and effort, significant contributions and an overall level of support and enthusiasm to the community. The officers and members of the chamber recognize the need to award those individuals that work hard to add value to the place where we love to live, work and play.

The public is invited to this gathering of business owners, residents, community organizations and past award winners on Friday, April 19, at the Commons Workplace in Excelsior from 6–9 p.m.  

Guests will be served beverages, food and a fine dessert and coffee bar, and enjoying the music of Gary Heil.  

The raffle drawing will take place at 7:30 p.m., right before the award is given.  

Local sponsors are The Commons, Joey Nova’s, Excelsior Vintage, Excelsior Brewing Company, Tonka Beer, Epicurean Garden Catering, Paradise Charter Cruises and 10,000 Lake Concours d’Elegance.  

Raffle tickets are currently being sold for $10 each or three for $25 at various retailers, call the Chamber office for locations – 952-474-6461.  Prizes include: Nights on the Town Prize Bundle, Chamber Wine Basket, Paradise Charter Cruise, 2 VIP tickets to the 10,000 Lakes Concours d’Elegance plus a gourmet picnic from Epicurean Garden Catering, and a Catered romantic dinner for 2 from Epicurean Garden Catering with a personalized Garden Centerpiece from Gray Gardens.
