This year is an extra special Father’s Day for me because this year I am a father of two. My son Owen was born on June 1 and is healthy and happy. Not only is this weekend Father's Day, but it is also going to be one of the first nice warm weekends on Lake Minnetonka this summer. So if you are taking the boat out or just going to be in the Lake Minnetonka area I thought I would give you some information on fun places that are kid friendly.

Adeles has some of the best Frozen custard I have ever had in my life. Also on top of the great custard they also have fresh homemade sandwiches so you can make a meal of it! (the wife will not think you just took the toddler to load up on Ice cream)

My Daughter loves to go to this real working (free to go to) farm to see all of the animals. Bailey my daughter likes the baby lambs and the garden with real farmers working in it that will let your children help.
Dakota Rail Regional Trail
13.5-mile paved trail offers a spectacular view of Lake Minnetonka and follows the route of the former Dakota Rail Corridor through St. Bonifacius, Minnetrista, Mound, Spring Park, Minnetonka Beach, Orono and Wayzata.
Although we don’t go the 13.5 miles my daughter gets her bike out and rides!

This is one of the coolest Mini Golf course I have ever been to! It is a must see in the lake area.
