It is hard to find a person these days who doesn't have at least one tattoo.

Males, females, teenagers—they all seem to have some kind of ink.

Small stars, crosses, butterflies, tribal, oriental, in memoriam, there are so many to choose from. Then once you choose your tattoo, or design, where do you put it? Do you pick your shoulder? Your back? So many decisions to make.

Micheal Foley: "I got my tattoo when I was 18. I had been a Marine for only a few months, and I was back in Wisconsin on leave for the holidays when my new girlfriend (then new to the Navy) and I decided to each get military tattoos. She got a Navy anchor on her pelvis and I got a Marine Corps emblem on my shoulder blade. The work was done by Eye Poppin' Tattoos in Shawano, WI. It was my first and still only tattoo."

Jay Corn: "I got this tattoo while deployed overseas as a U.S. Marine in a ridiculous attempt to impress a girl. I was 19. I picked a sun because of it's symbolic representation of warmth, optimism, brighter days ahead and my need to be reminded of them sometimes. When I got back to our ship a buddy of mine said it looked more like an egg being fertilized. It was a running joke for the rest of my enlistment."

Caitlin Burgess: My tattoo represents friendship and love. My best friend and I got matching tattoos to mark the 15 year anniversary of our friendship. We wanted something that would be a small reminder of all the obstacles we've climbed together. The green and pink represent our favorite colors from our youth."

So it's as easy as that. Upload your photo with a brief description using the button above and let us see your best ink!
