Curtain Set to Rise on 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum'

Wayzata-based Blue Water Theatre Company kicks of three show run this Thursday in Hopkins.

Blue Water Theatre Company of Wayzata will perform three nights of Stephen Sondheim's musical A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

Performances are scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the in Hopkins. All showtimes are 7 p.m.

Tickets are $14 for adults and $11 for students and are available in advance online or at the door prior to each performance.

Set in ancient Rome, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum tells the hilarious story of a slave—Pseudolus—who works to earn his freedom from his master. Widely regarded as one of the funniest musicals ever written, Forum is sure to be a fantastic night at the theatre.
