Casting Call: Blue Water Theater Company Auditioning for 'Annie'

Kids in grades three through 12 can try out for local theatre company's presentation of "Annie."

Blue Water Theatre Company of Wayzata will be holding auditions for its upcoming production of "Annie" the week of Sept. 10.

Male and female actors in grades six through 12 are invited to audition for the show. In addition, Blue Water is also inviting girls in grades three through five to audition to play orphans.

Auditions will take place at Blue Water’s studio in Wayzata (1250 E. Wayzata Boulevard) at the following times:

  • Monday, September 10 from 6:00-8:30
  • Tuesday, September 11 from 6:00-8:30
  • Thursday, September 13 from 6:00-8:30

Student actors who wish to audition do not need to sign up in advance or prepare anything ahead of time. They do, however, need to visit the “Audition” page on the Blue Water Theatre Company's website to download the “Annie Production Packet.” This packet contains detailed information about the production, as well as forms that need to be filled out and turned in at the time of the audition.
