Tonight: Come to Downtown Excelsior to Check Out Latest Summer Fashions

Excelsior's always-popular Girls Night Out Fashion Show is back this year and promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Presented by the Excelsior-Lake Minneotnka Chamber of Commerce, tonight's “Fash Splash” begins at 6:30 p.m. on Water Street. The runway will be located in front of Dunn Bros.

Fashions for men and women will be shown featuring styles from many Excelsior retailers. Both hot weather ideas and pieces to transition into cooler late summer evenings will be offered. Drawings will be held during the Fashion Show for gift certificates and prizes donated by Excelsior businesses.

All proceeds will benefit Ready for Success, a Minneapolis organization providing low-income women and men with gently-used and new professional clothing, accessories and new personal care items

Fashion and fun enthusiasts are invited to come to Excelsior early to enjoy shopping and dinner, and stay after the show as most retailers will stay open until 9 p.m.

The Excelsior Girls’ Night Out Fashion Show is an Excelsior Downtown Business Group Event, and is sponsored by more than a dozen local businesses.
