Minnetrista Church Hosts Faith-Based Run/Walk Next Month
In a world where there are so many things we run or walk away from, Revelation Wellness encourages Lake Minnetonka residents to run or walk to the love of God.
Local residents are being invited to join Revelation Wellness for the inaugural Twin Cities Revelation Wellness Love Run/Walk Half Marathon and 5K. This faith-based fitness event takes place Saturday, May 19, at River Valley Church in Minnestrista.
Cost is $60 for the half marathon and $25 for the 5K. There is a two-person relay option for the half marathon, and kids are welcome—no extra charge for mothers or fathers with strollers. People of all faiths—or none—are encouraged to participate, and proceeds raised benefit the Kingdom Builders Ministry.

Participants will have the Word of God waved over them at every mile marker to keep in step with the spirit. Everyone who finishes will receive a victors crown and swag bag.
“The Twin Cities Love Run/Walk will boldly train you to love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength,” says Jonnie Goodmanson, the Revelation Wellness Race Coordinator. “This is an opportunity to bring the scripture—Mark 12:30∏—to life.”
